How to apply
What you need to apply for Mathematics at Leibniz University Hannover
Applicants that are native speakers of English, or applicants who can present evidence of an English university entrance qualification, or who have completed a bachelor’s degree taught in English are not required to take tests to prove sufficient English language proficiency. Applicants that cannot present evidence of either a German university entrance qualification or a bachelor's degree at a German university must additionally provide evidence of sufficient German language. German proficiency can also be proven by ÖSD certificate B2.

Students who do not fulfil the German language requirements must take basic German language courses as part of their coursework.

What to prepare for your application to Mathematics
University entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur certificate).
A university entrance qualification is not required if you are currently studying at Leibniz Universität Hannover.
Bachelor's degree certificate (if it is already available).
Complete and up-to-date record of your previous studies with details of the credit points and the average grade.
CV
A CV is not required if you are currently studying at LUH.
Proof of language skills
For applicants from China, India and Vietnam (except Macau and Hong Kong): APS
Applicants with certificates from India may only submit their APS certificate in the admissions process for the winter semester 2023/2024 up to enrollment.
The obligation to present an APS certificate does not apply to :
Persons with Indian certificates who already live in Germany and present a valid residence permit .
Persons with Indian certificates who have successfully passed an assessment test in Germany.
