What you need to apply for Master Chemical Engineering (MSc) at Munster University of Applied Sciences (FH Munster)
Knowledge of a foreign language:
You must also demonstrate that you have a sufficient knowledge of English. This means demonstrating that you have at least a B2 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, e.g. by receiving at least 620 points on a TOEIC Test, at least 87 points on an internet-based TOEFL Test or 567 points on the paper-based test, or by presenting equivalent proof.
You will not need to demonstrate your knowledge of English if you obtained your Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Chemical Engineering of Münster University of Applied Sciences, if you completed a degree programme delivered in English or if you can prove that English is your mother tongue. In all other cases, the Examination Committee shall decide on the basis of your application.

What to prepare for your application to Master Chemical Engineering (MSc)

The following documents are required for applications to degree programmes:
1. application form for admission to studies
2. curriculum vitae
3. passport copy
4. school-leaving certificate containing a list of the grades achieved (secondary school certificate)
5. if applicable, evidence of having passed a university entrance examination in the country of origin
6. evidence of successfully completed periods of study including the subjects and the grades achieved per semester as well as the final certificate, if the degree was completed
7. certificate of a German language proficiency test for entrance to higher education
8. certificate of the assessment test, if you have attended a preparatory course before studies (Studienkolleg)
9. if required, evidence that you have completed a work placement related to your discipline, with an exact description of the tasks performed (usually 13 weeks' duration).
10. for applications for degree programmes in Design and Architecture, evidence of having passed the artistic/creative aptitute test
11. if required, evidence that you have passed the degree programme-related aptitute test
12. for applications for Master's programmes, proof of having passed an undergraduate, qualifying degree with an above-average grade including the degree certificate and transcripts per semester (for some Master's programmes you must also include additional documents, e.g. proof of an adequate command of English, work placement periods - please observe the information provided by the faculties)
13. when applying for a transfer to a higher semester, a certificate from the faculty regarding your placement
A successful degree programme/academic year must always be proven by transcripts for each semester.
If you have not yet earned a degree in a programme lasting at least three or four years, you may only study the same or similar subjects if one or two successful years of study are required for direct access to higher education.
