What you need to apply for Electrical Engineering and Embedded Systems at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences
Proven English skills: TOEFL (iBT with a total score of at least 70 out of 120) or IELTS (with a minimum overall band score of 6.0) - Medium of Instruction Certificates are not accepted!
Prerequisites for eligibility is a completed Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Automation or Power Engineering with a final grade of at least 2,5 (German grading system) and 210 ECTS credits. Graduates from 3 year Bachelor programmes (180 ECTS credits) can be considered provided they meet additional requirements.
Applicants who at the time of application have not obtained the Bachelor's degree yet will be ranked according to their current GPA.

Admission requirement
Please note the following requirements:
A university degree in electrical engineering/electronics or related field with an overall grade of at least 2.5
Proven knowledge in VHDL/ Verilog
Proven knowledge in a programming language e.g. C, C++, Rust, MATLAB or Julia
Good English skills (IELTS with min. 6.0 or TOEFL iBT with min. 70/120)
Good math skills
Basis for the overall grade is the grade of the first university degree. The overall grade can be improved by up to 0.8. Per category, however, by a maximum of up to 0.2:
Research work in the field of electrical engineering
professional experience in the field of electrical engineering of at least 24 months
a GRE (Graduate Record Examination) test score in the area of "Quantitative Reasoning" of at least 161 points
demonstrated proficiency in one of these programming languages: C, C++, Rust, MATLAB, or Julia.
A ranking list will be created based on the overall score. The applicants with the best overall scores will then be admitted.
