Chemical Engineering

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or an at least equivalent degree at the level of at least three years of study at a university, a university of applied sciences, a cooperative university or a recognised foreign higher education institution in the field of chemical engineering or in a related or subject-specific programme, with examination results evidenced by

-

• a) an academic final examination with a bachelor's degree with an overall grade of 3.0 or better or,
• if no degree has yet been awarded,
• b) previous study and examination achievements up to the time of submission of the application with an average grade of 3.0 or better

• as well as a passed selection interview if the academic final examination or the average grade is between 2.6 and 3.0

• Good competences in mathematics, basic competences in natural sciences, as well as in the fields of chemical, thermal and mechanical process engineering, as well as thermodynamics and engineering fundamentals, to be demonstrated by corresponding study and examination achievements

• Ability to conduct independent scientific work, demonstrated in particular by a thesis or comparable achievement corresponding to 6 ECTS credits

• Higher education degree in a study programme with English as the sole language of instruction
• 5.5 points or more in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS IELTS Academic (IELTS online) or IELTS Indicator); if both score and CEFR level are indicated, the higher indicated language proficiency level will be recognised
• First Certificate in English (FCE), Certificate in English Language Skills (CELS) Vantage or Business English Certificate (BEC) Vantage Cambridge exam English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) (Cambridge University)
• 400 (listening), 385 (reading), 160 (speaking) and 150 (writing) points or more in the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)
• 72 points or more in the Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based (TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT home edition)
• Level II of UNIcert®
• PTE Academic, with a score of 59 or higher
• CEFR B 2 level or higher shown on the higher education entrance qualification. A level of language proficiency which is partly at CEFR B 2 and lower is not recognised
• Higher education entrance qualification with proof of language achievement in the last 2 years with at least 5 points each.
