Biomedical Technology

The prerequisite for admission to the master's programme is a completed diploma or bachelor's degree with a final grade of at least "good" (2.5 or better) in the field of biomedical engineering, medical physics, physics, electrical engineering or computer science. Furthermore, English language skills at level B1 of the common European reference framework must be proven. The examination regulations regulate the details.

Applicants who do not achieve the required overall grade for admission to the course can, upon application, take an aptitude test to determine whether they are suitable for the Master's programme.

Bachelor's graduates from Degree Courses with fewer than seven semesters can make up for missing knowledge by the end of the second semester, so that after completing the master's degree in "Biomedical Engineering" a corresponding total study volume of 300 credit points can be proven.

English-language version:

Basic German language skills at level A1 (or equivalently a German-language first university degree) must be proven. For the degree programme itself, English language skills at level B2 are required in order to actively participate in courses and scientific discussions.

German-language version:

English language skills at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages must be proven in order to be able to understand English-language specialist literature. For foreign applicants who have obtained their first university degree in a non-German-speaking degree program: Proof of good German language skills (e.g. DSH-2, TestDaF with at least 4 points in each area).
