Prerequisites
- First professional degree with at least 210 credit points and an overall grade of 2.5 or better in a degree program in information and electrical engineering or a comparable degree program with an engineering, technical, or technical-scientific focus from a national or international university
- If the overall grade of at least 2.5 cannot be proven, the final thesis must have been passed with a module grade of 2.5 or better or a relevant, multi-year practical qualification must be available
- Applicants with a degree totaling 180 credit points may, after consultation with and by decision of the examination board, complete modules totaling 30 credit points
- If the overall grade is 3.1 or worse, no admission is granted
