Admission to the Master of Education for Gymnasium Teaching in Catholic Theology program is open to applicants who:
1\. have obtained a first degree from a German university in a teaching-related bachelor's program for a teaching qualification under the framework agreements of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (Kultusministerkonferenz) in Catholic Theology or in an equivalent degree program of at least three years at a German or foreign university,
2\. have German language skills equivalent to at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages,
3\. have acquired the Latinum or have Latin skills sufficient to read the relevant original texts, and have acquired the Graecum or have Greek skills sufficient to understand New Testament texts, and
4\. have completed the Online Self-Reflection on Teaching Studies and the Teaching Profession (OSEL) program offered by the Freiburg Advanced Center of Education or an equivalent orientation program for teaching studies at another German university.
