If you are still studying at the time of application and cannot provide a degree certificate with a grade, please submit a current transcript of records with a provisional average grade. (Graduates of the Department of History can submit a printout of their transcript of records.) The degree certificate
must be submitted by the end of the first master's semester.

Admission Requirements
University Degree
A first professionally qualifying degree from a German or recognized
foreign university with at least 60 credit points in one of the following major or minor subjects:
If the B.A. program results in fewer than 26 credit points in one or both of the selected profiles, or if basic courses ("proseminars") are missing in the selected profile areas, the missing credit points or courses must be acquired in the
elective area of the M.A. program. The prerequisites will be verified when registering for the examination.
Other special admission requirements:
Proof of language skills in Latin equivalent to the Latinum.

Recognition of certificates for degrees obtained abroad
For applicants who have obtained their first degree abroad,
the recognition of a certificate for an educational qualification obtained abroad will be carried out as part of the application process at the faculty.
