What you need to apply for MSc Biotechnology at University of Munster
For applicants who have not obtained their university entrance qualification at a German-speaking institution, further admission requirements are proof of sufficient knowledge of German or English language for active participation in the courses in accordance with the study and examination regulations applicable to the respective course. Proof of German language skills is provided in accordance with the provisions of the DSH examination regulations of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität
Bachelor's certificate (a preliminary certificate has to be enclosed in case the final certificate is not available yet)
proof of additional qualifications relevant to the degree course, if applicable (e.g. job references, additional degrees, relevant internships)

Admission to the degree course is granted through a selection that is made by the selection committee of the degree course. A 2,3 BSc final grade (German scale) minimum is required. A preliminary certificate with the required grade will be accepted. Alternatively the applicant could prove that he/she ranks amongst the best 40% of his/her year.
Decision of admittance is based on the Bachelor's final grade and proven additional qualifications (if applicable).
The following documents have to be submitted online at the registrar's office together with the application:
proof of university entrance qualification
Bachelor's certificate (a preliminary certificate has to be enclosed in case the final certificate is not available yet)
proof of previous study and examination credits (e.g. transcript of records)
curriculum vitae
proof of additional qualifications relevant to the degree course, if applicable (e.g. job references, additional degrees, relevant internships)
proof of sufficient knowledge of the German language (in the case that the university entrance qualification was not obtained at a German speaking institution)
