For admission in the MSc program, you need a Bachelor’s degree with a grade of at least 2.5 (German grading system) or better. It’s recommended that students hold either a Bachelor in Archaeology (ideally with some additional experience in Natural Sciences) or a Bachelor in Natural Sciences (ideally with some additional experience in Archaeology). If you hold a Bachelor in Archaeology but lack the additional experience in Natural Sciences (or vice versa), then this may not necessarily an exclusion criterion, the professors will take the final decision on your application.
Adequate knowledge of English is required. Adequate knowledge of English is considered to be level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (or equivalent). English classes at the German “Abitur” level are considered adequate as well.
_Note: - German language proficiency is not required as the ASHE program is taught completely in English._
_ - You don't need to have completed your Bachelor degree, you can also apply if you will graduate before October._
