What you need to apply for Computer Science for Digital Media at Bauhaus University Weimar (HS Bauhaus)
Level B2 of the „Common European Framework of Reference for Languages“ (CEFR) can be proved by submitting:

Admission requires a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, media informatics, media technology or a related field with a strong focus on computer science. Bachelor degrees in electrical engineering, physics or mathematics may be eligble if you took a significant number of core computer science courses during your studies. If the converted credit-weighted average grade of your Bachelor's degree is at least 2.0 in the German system, your chances of acceptance are very good.

Bachelor of Science degree with at least the grade »good« in the Media Informatics degree programme or a first university degree recognised by the responsible examination board as relevant to the subject. Media technology, media informatics and computer science degree programmes as well as other technical-scientific degree programmes with media relevance are considered to be relevant.
applicants have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field (e.g. Software or Medieninformatik/Computer Science for Digital Media), but Mathematics and Engineering are also possible.
When we review your application, we will check if you have completed a sufficient number of Mathematics and Computer Science courses:

\*\* Computer Science amounting to at least 45 ECTS points
We also consider the specific courses you have taken; have you acquired certain core competences that we consider vital for you to succeed in our programme? These include solid programming skills and basic concepts in Discrete Mathematics, Software Engineering and Theoretical Computer Science.
If you fail to satisfy these requirements only narrowly, we may still accept your application, but with certain stipulations - namely one or two supplementary courses in order for you to catch up with the other students.
The prerequisite for admission to the Computer Science for Digital Media degree programme is a relevant Bachelor of Science degree. Relevant courses of study are computer science, computer engineering, media informatics, information technology, software engineering, or mathematics as well as other technical and scientific courses of study with a computer science focus. If the converted credit-weighted grade point average of your Bachelor's degree in the German system is at least 2.0, your chances of admission are very good.
