How to apply
What you need to apply for Master of Arts International Business at Cologne International Business School
Proof of your knowledge of English (if English is not your native language). We accept the following language certificates: TOEFL certificate (at least 92 points Internet-based), IELTS (at least band 6.5), Cambridge English Advanced (CAE), BEC higher and other comparable language certificates. These must not be older than two years.
Alternatively, you can also provide proof of your English as part of our Assessment Day (on-site) or an interview (via Skype). Likewise, if you have proof of a minimum stay of 6 months in English-speaking countries (internships, work) or parts of your school career in English (individual case examination), your English certificate will be deemed to have been provided.

Admission requirements for admission to a Master's program at CBS is a first academic degree (Bachelor, Master) from a recognized university with a minimum grade of "good". If this grade grade was not achieved in the first degree course, a separate admission procedure must be completed. The first degree should have been taken in an economics field and comprise a total of at least 180 ECTS credits .

2. Copies of your academic credentials (Bachelor, Diplom, Magister) as well as evidence of your previous academic achievements (Academic Transcript of Records)
3. Letter of motivation in which you answer the following question: "Where do you see yourself with a CBS degree in professional life" (1-2 DIN A4 pages long)
4. Copy of your ID and, if available, your residence permit
5. Proof of your knowledge of English (if English is not your native language).
