What you need to apply for Forest Information Technology (FIT) at Eberswalde University of Sustainable Management
The Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development requires applicants to prove their English skills at a CEFR B2 or equivalent level. We accept various international certificates, such as TOEFL, TOEIC, and Cambridge English as well as a range of other degrees to prove your English skills.
Native speakers do not have to prove their English skills. Also applicants who completed their studies in English do not have to provide a certificate of their English language skills.
1\. Applicants with a 3-year or 4-year Bachelor / Engineer Degree depending on the country of origin or comparable degree in e.g. Forestry, Biology, Agriculture, Landscape Planning or related Natural Sciences will be eligible for direct entry to the Master Programme.
2\. Basic knowledge of forestry is necessary but might be achieved during the Study Programme in additional courses. In addition, the basic requirements for applicants include basic PC knowledge and knowledge on operating systems and office suites. Good mathematical skills are of advantage.
3\. English language skills B2 or equivalent level. Also applicants who completed their studies in English do not have to provide a certificate of their English language skills.

The FIT programme does not charge tuition fees. The universities and the service organizations charge only administration fees.
If students are in Eberswalde they have to pay € 51 per semester for enrolment and renewal of enrolment, € 50 per semester for the student service organization ("Studentenwerk"), € 8 for the Students' Union Executive Committee and € 86 for a semester ticket which is valid for Berlin and the state of Brandenburg (advantageous travel from and to Berlin and across Brandenburg!).
