The master's in Computer Science (M.Sc.) at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences is an English-taught programme for graduates of computer science or related subjects who want to deepen their knowledge in cyber security and artificial intelligence. You design and implement methods in cryptography and security, and learn to use, adapt and improve modern AI techniques related to data, planning and applications. Formal methods, algorithmic skills and project management round this out, and some courses cover life and work culture in Germany. Topics include cyber attacks and threat management, intelligent systems, machine learning, enterprise security architecture, and security governance, IT law and compliance. You build skills in both areas and can specialise in one major. Instead of spending the third semester on campus, you can do an internship or a semester abroad.

If you fulfil the admission requirements, your personal study advisor will invite you to an admission interview. The admission interview is not a knowledge test. We would like to find out more about your personality, your reasons for choosing Hochschule Fresenius and your motivation to study. The interview is scheduled for 15 minutes.
After successful completion of the admission interview, we will send you the study contract with all details on the next steps.
Special advice for Indian students regarding the APS:
Once you receive your letter of acceptance, please complete your application as soon as possible. You do not need to wait for the APS certificate. Once you complete the application process and receive the visa documents, our International Office will inform the APS Team India to prioritize your case if needed.
Digital copies are sufficient for most documents. At some point before matriculation, we will need to see a certified copy of your previously acquired qualification(s). However, you can submit this once you have arrived in Germany.
You will find an upload section on the online application portal with the documents required for enrollment. The only thing needed by post is a certified copy of your university entrance qualification. All other documents required for enrollment can be submitted after the application procedure.
