Hector School offers a unique program called Mobility Systems Engineering and Management (ESEM) that focuses on the intersection of engineering and business in the field of mobility. The program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the technical, economic, and societal aspects of mobility systems. How to apply
What you need to apply for Mobility Systems Engineering and Management (ESEM) at Hector School
English language proficiency is required, e.g. English as mother tongue or test certificate (e.g. TOEFL score of at least 570 PBT; 230 CBT; 90 iBT or IELTs at least 6,5 points) or appropriate proof of C1 level.
Not required
First academic degree: Bachelor, Master, Diploma, etc. (University, University of Applied Sciences, Cooperative State University) in a relevant subject, such as Engineering, Natural Sciences, Information Science or Economics. In exceptional cases other degrees may be accepted.
A minimum of 1 - 2 years of professional experience in the specific field of the Master Program (depending on the first degree´s level); HECTOR Schools recommendation: > 3 years
University qualification:
First academic degree: Bachelor's, Master's, German "Diplom", etc. (university, university of applied sciences, cooperative state university) in a relevant subject, such as engineering, natural sciences, information science or economics. First university degree in one of the following (or related) areas: Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information technology, Mechatronics, Sensor system engineering and Automation engineering. Other degrees may be accepted in exceptional cases.
Professional experience:
Depending on the level of the first degree (210 or 180 ECTS points)
Proof of Background Knowledge-Fundamental understanding of advanced mathematics or stochastic, along with foundational knowledge in one of these specified areas-Control engineering, Power transformation, Drive technology, Manufacturing engineering,Materials science,Electronic materials and devices,Circuit technology,Microelectronics,Telecommunications and
Basic physical knowledge of electrical engineering or metrology
A minimum of one or two years of practical experience in the specific field of the course is required.
Three years of work experience are recommended.
References are needed as evidence.

Additional fee information
The KIT will increase the tuition fees as of the winter term 2024/25 (i.e. 1st October 2024). The total amount of tuition fees will then be 36,000.00 € (thirty-six thousand Euro) for the entire Master´s program (excl. enrollment fees at each enrolled semester).Differing length of studies does not increase the total tuition fee. Please note that this fee is tax-deductible.
