Applicants must hold an above average bachelor’s degree in one of the focus areas or a related discipline. Other applicants may be eligible if they can demonstrate proficiency in these disciplines (e.g. through extracurricular activity / work).
If your first language is not English, you have to provide evidence of your proficiency in English (Level C1: ≳7 [IELTS]; ≳180 [Cambridge C1 Advanced]; ≳95 [TOEFL]; ≳115 [Duolingo]).
You do not need proficiency in German to complete the study programme

▸ If your first language is English and you are a citizen of a majority English-speaking country or you earned your bachelor's degree in a majority English-speaking country, then you do not need to demonstrate English proficiency (Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, UK, USA).
Knowledge of German is not required for the master's programs at SAI. All modules can be completed in English. Therefore, you do not need to prove knowledge of German for the application.

Starting in the winter semester 2017/18, international students from non-EU (European Union) and non-EEA (European Economic Area - Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway) countries with a foreign university entrance qualification will be required to pay a tuition fee of EUR 1500 per semester for Bachelor’s/Staatsexamen and consecutive Master’s degree programmes at all institutions of higher education in Baden-Württemberg (Germany).
