Study requirements
First professional university degree in the field of computer science, media informatics, business informatics or mathematics, applied mathematics, technomathematics, business mathematics (provided that at least 12 ECTS can be proven in core areas of applied computer science) If you have a university degree in another similar field, your suitability must be recognized by the relevant examination board This course is only offered in German. In addition to the technical requirements, the knowledge of the German language required for the course must generally be proven by: “German language test for university entrance”, DSH (level 2 or 3), “Test German as a foreign language” certificate, TestDaF (at least level 4), “German language diploma” of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany, DSD2 (level 2), “Central Upper Secondary Examination” (ZOP) of the Goethe Institute, Large or Small German Language Diploma of the Goethe Institute, “Goethe Certificate C1”, Certificate of passing the “telc German C1 Hochschule” exam, Certificate of passing the German C1 exam of the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages” (GER), Certificate of the test to determine the suitability of foreign applicants for studying at universities in the Federal Republic of Germany (“assessment test”) Applicants who have a German university entrance qualification or a university degree from a German-language course are required to take the exam. Proof of language proficiency is exempt. Application and application period by 15 June via uni-assist for the winter semester by 30 November via uni-assist for the summer semester
