You can start your desired study programme at IU International University of Applied Sciences if you meet the requirements. The admissions documents must be provided in English or German; a translation is required if not issued in one of these two languages. • Completed, undergraduate degree with 240 ECTS credits in Engineering or an Engineering related subject
• Your degree must be from a state or state-recognised higher education institution/university
• You must have achieved a final grade of at least “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent in your previous undergraduate degree

Depending on your previous education, the following entry options are applicable for the 60-ECTS credits Master’s degree:

• Undergraduate degree with 210 ECTS credits: you can bridge the gap of 30 ECTS credits with the proof of one year qualified work experience
• Undergraduate degree with 180 ECTS credits: you can bridge the gap of 60 ECTS credits with the proof of two years qualified work experience
• Recognition of knowledge and abilities acquired outside of higher education is possible in principle.

We accept the following English language skills certificates\*:

• IELTS (at least 6.5 points)
• TOEFL IBT (at least 95 points)
• Cambridge certificate (at least A grade overall)

_\*Proof must not be older than two years._

Alternative ways to prove your English language skills:

• _Citizenship:_ If you are from a country where English is the official and educational language, your passport can serve as proof of English proficiency.
