Document and information on your higher education entrance qualification

Proof of a Bachelor's degree or a degree recognised as equivalent that opens up access to the Master's degree programme with final degree grade

If no certificate is available yet: at least 150 ECTS with a grade point average of 2.5 or better (for the Management, International Economic Policy and Information Systems degree programmes) or better than 2.0 (for the Management International degree programme)

If you are applying for the Management International degree programme and have a grade point average between 2.0 and better than 3.0, you also need a qualified GMAT™ Exam (Focus Edition) score of at least 565 points. Please remember that the test result must be officially submitted to the University of Würzburg by the test centre.

For applicants who did not obtain their first degree in an EU/EEA member state

Applicants with a first degree from Vietnam/China/India: APS certificate

English language skills should be at a level of B2. Alternatively, language requirements can be met by:

Test of English as a Foreign language (TOEFL) with at least 72 points (Internet-based TOEFL)

International English Language Test System (IELTS) with a score of 6.0 or better

Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE)

Bachelor's degree from an English-taught course

Language requirements in German

Proof of German skills at basic (A2) level is required by the end of the re-registration period in the third semester at the latest – it is not necessary for application.
