Proof of English Language skills has to be a GRE test result in verbal reasoning of at least 145 points. There are no exeptions to this rule.
GRE result with a. a score of at least 145 in Verbal Reasoning,
a score of at least 157 in Quantitative Reasoning, and
a score of at least 3.0 in Analytical Writing.
a bachelor‘s degree in computer science or a related field such as computer engineering,
an academic transcript of records (list of courses taken, exams passed, credits earned),
a qualified GRE result, that is,
GRE result with a. a score of at least 145 in Verbal Reasoning,
a score of at least 157 in Quantitative Reasoning, and
a score of at least 3.0 in Analytical Writing.
What to prepare for your application to Computer Science
Academic admission requirements include a relevant three- or four-year degree from a recognised university (e.g. Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business informatics, or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject) with a minimum grade of 2.5 (according to the German grading system, strictly applied, exceptions not possible).
GRE with a minimum percentage of 55% in the quantitative reasoning part of the test
The very rare case is when your bachelor‘s degree has precisely the same learning outcomes (collection of all learning outcomes of all the modules) as the bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science from Kiel University. In this case, you do not need to submit a full GRE and are exempt from the online exam, provided you can prove your proficiency in English. To this end, you need to add:
proof of language proficiency at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), or
a GRE result with a score of at least 145 in Verbal Reasoning,
