What you need to apply for International Political Economy at Philipps-University Marburg
A general admission prerequisite for the master's program is certification of a degree from a discipline-relevant bachelor's program in the field of Economics or Political Science or certification of a comparable domestic or foreign qualifying university degree.
Fundamental economic knowledge must have been acquired in the professionally qualifying bachelor's degree program or in comparable university degree programs with a study focus on Economics; that is, at least 72 credit points (ECTS) in Economics subjects and the associated ancillary sciences (e.g. Mathematics for Economists, Statistics). At least 54 credit points must have been earned in Economics subjects.
The bachelor's degree or a comparable university degree with a study focus in Political Science or a related subject area must have been evaluated with a grade average of at least B (corresponding to the grade of 2.0 "Good") or better. More detailed information can be found at:

The program is open to graduates in both Economics and Political Sciences, but only Economics students can enroll in Marburg and begin the program there. Political Sciences students are subject to the entry requirements of the University of Dallas and must pay their tuition fees there.

What to prepare for your application to International Political Economy
a) Application for admission (online application via the application portal).
b) Certification of a degree from a subject-relevant bachelor's program in the field of Economics or certification of a comparable domestic or foreign qualifying university degree.
c) Certification of fundamental economic knowledge in the economic major topic (e.g. Transcript of Records)
d) Certificate of English skills at a C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages by the Council of Europe.
e) Tabular resume / CV in English, approx. 1 DIN-A4 page.
f) A letter in English, approx. 2 DIN-A4 pages, in which the applicant presents their subject-related and personal suitability and substantiates their interest in beginning a course of study in the double degree MS of International Political Economy.
g) Additional certifications of personal disciplinary suitability, based on the letter of interest, and regarding relevant employment and practical experience, as applicable.
