Reutlingen University offers a Master of Science in International Business Development, which is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for careers in the global business environment. The course curriculum covers a wide range of topics including international marketing, strategic management, and cross-cultural communication. What you need to apply for International Business Development at Reutlingen University
Very good English language skills (TOEFL - minimum of 83 ibt / IELTS minimum of 6.5 with minimum of 6 / unit)
Graduates from the following disciplines may apply: Business management or a related field. Furthermore, graduates from non-business degree programmes may also apply provided they have taken at least 4 courses in business management, including two from the quantitative field (e.g. accountancy, finance management, economics, statistics, logistics).
At least six months work experience (e.g. internships during studies or work experience post graduation)
First degree completed with 210 ECTS credits (equivalent of 3.5 years full-time study) Applicants with 180 ECTS (equivalent of 3 years full-time study) credits have to complete an additional internship; graduates of non-business degree programmes must have taken at least 4 courses in business, including two from the quantitative area.
Min 6 month Experience or Internship is Required.
University degree and very good proficiency in German and English
German or foreign university degree in an economics degree programme with at least 180 ECTS and a total average grade of “good“ (2.5).
Final grades obtained abroad must first be converted to the German grading system by an official body that is recognised for this purpose.
In order to be admitted to our IACT or IBD programme at Reutlingen University, a good knowledge of English at B2 level must be proven according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages evidenced in paragraph 2 of the ‘Regulations on Language Proficiency for Study at Reutlingen University’ in its current and valid version (see Downloads & Links).
Good German language skills as proved by passing a language test (DSH, at least Level 2/ TestDaF at least 14 points), or equivalent
Proof is not required if you have a German university entrance qualification or a German language university degree qualifying for entry into a profession.
Experience abroad related to the degree programme (e.g. study semester abroad or internship abroad).
If you have no experience abroad you may take part in the selection process under the condition that you acquire the missing qualification during the course in accordance with the study and examinations regulations.
