1\. First degree: Bachelor of Engineering or Science in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)
2\. At least 125 ECTS in mathematics and/or natural sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry, computer science or similar)
3\. A minimum of 15 ECTS in the fields of higher mathematics or statistics, database and information systems, programming, algorithms and data structures, complexity theory, quantitative methods/operations research
4\. Professional work experience (at least 6 months at the time of application and 12 months at the day of your enrolment).

The tuition fee for the entire program is €30,000. Additionally, each student has to pay a social contribution fee at RWTH Aachen University, which amounts to around €270 per semester. Students will be informed about the option of quarterly or monthly instalments at the beginning of the second semester.
- Students in Germany who are financing their studies on their own might be able to deduct tuition fees from the income tax they pay within Germany.
Payment Regulations for the Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are due on 30 June for the following winter semester and on 31 December for the following summer semester.
