What you need to apply for Design for Digital Futures (M. A.) at Technical University Nuremberg (TH Nuremberg)

andidates for the Design for Digital Futures programme must fulfil the following three requirements:
1) A bachelor’s degree comprising 180 ECTS (6 instructional semesters (theory)) in design or design-related or other related field completed at a university or another equivalent qualification obtained on the basis of a university degree.
If your bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) was awarded with only 5 semesters of theory, you may be provisionally admitted with on the condition that you complete the missing semester according to the requirements of the examination board no later than one year after beginning the programme (a supplementary semester).
If you have a final grade for your bachelor’s degree by the time the application period closes, but have successfully completed at least 75% of the coursework required for your degree (a maximum of 45 credits may be incomplete at the time you apply) and you can successfully complete the preliminary exams for admission to the programme (see below), you may be provisionally admitted. Provisional admission requires you to present documentation of the final grade point average for your degree within the first semester.
2) Documentation of English proficiency (B2 level, Common European Reference Framework for Languages). A German “Abitur”_ _is accepted as documentation of B2 level.
3) Successfully complete the process to determine aptitude for the programme / pass the university’s preliminary exam (§89 Para 2 1 BayHIG) pursuant to the regulations governing preliminary exams in their current form.
There is currently no _Numerus Clausus_ for this programme.

Applying for master’s degree programmes

Additional documents, should these be required for certain degree programmes (evidence of professional experience, cover letter, etc.)
