Agrosystem Sciences at TUM is a full-time, research-oriented Master of Science on the Weihenstephan (Freising) campus, over four semesters with 120 ECTS, starting in the winter semester (October). German is the required language. It deals with agricultural production systems, such as plant and livestock production, their biological, technical and economic drivers, and the interactions between soils, crops, livestock, the environment and society. The aim is to train agricultural scientists who can meet future challenges in food production, renewable resources, the environment and climate on the path to sustainable agriculture. Seven required modules teach the basics of modern agricultural production systems, such as nutrient cycles and agricultural economics, while electives and research projects let you build an individual, interdisciplinary profile, for example in the breeding and biotechnological development of cultivated plants. Admission is through an aptitude assessment.
