has obtained a first degree from a German university in a Bachelor's program in German Studies with a focus on literary studies or in an equivalent program of at least three years at a German or foreign university that meets the qualifying requirements specified in paragraph 2,
2\. has knowledge of the German language corresponding to level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, and knowledge of English or another modern foreign language corresponding to at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as basic knowledge of another foreign language (Latin or another ancient language or another modern foreign language),
3\. has obtained a general higher education entrance qualification or a relevant subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent foreign higher education entrance qualification, and
4\. has not definitively failed an examination in a Master's or Magister program in German Literature or a related subject or has lost their right to take the examination.
