International Taxation

For the MBA International Taxation, you must meet one of the following requirements:

• University degree with 180 ECTS & passed tax advisor examination (equivalent to 210 ECTS) or
• University degree (with a focus on taxes) with 240 ECTS.

(1) Admission to the Master of Business Administration International Taxation continuing education program is granted to those who:

• has obtained a first above-average professional qualification from a German university in a course of study in law or economics or in an equivalent course of study at a German or foreign university that has a scope of at least 210 ECTS credits,
• has knowledge of the German language that corresponds to at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as knowledge of the English language that corresponds to at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages,
• has acquired the general higher education entrance qualification or a relevant subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent foreign higher education entrance qualification and
• has at least two years of subject-relevant professional experience after successful completion of the university degree in accordance with no. 1.

(2) If the degree programme leading to the first professional qualification in accordance with subsection 1 no. 1 has a scope of credits of less than 210 but at least 180 ECTS credits, the applicant may be admitted if the other requirements specified in subsection (1) are fulfilled if this degree programme has been completed with above-average success and he/she

• has successfully passed the German tax advisor exam or
• has successfully passed a tax advisor exam abroad, which corresponds to the German tax advisor exam in terms of content and level, and has a sound knowledge of German tax law.
