M.Sc. Business Informatics

Business Informatics is a Master of Science at the University of Oldenburg, taught in German and English. It takes 4 semesters (two years), admission is free, and you can start in winter or summer. The programme is grounded in concepts and methods yet geared to careers and the job market, and you are free to design much of your own programme. You take required modules in business informatics and economics, can add modules from the computing science Master's, and complete a project group and Master's thesis. You can also follow one of three tracks: operational environmental information systems, industrial information systems, or business intelligence. A special focus at Oldenburg is very large business applications and business engineering, with cooperative projects with regional companies. Requirements include a degree in business informatics or a closely related field. Applicants from outside Germany also need German at DSH-2 or TestDaF 4.
