What you need to apply for Business Administration at University of Potsdam
English must be proven at level C1 (GER).
Applicants who are not German must prove German language skills at least at level C1 (GER) by passing DSH 2 or equivalent
Bachelor Degree
a simple copy (ie not accredited) of the German or English language certificate of first degree (eg Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Diploma, Master).
If you do not have a professional qualification, you can still apply for admission. The requirement for an application without a formal qualification is that at the time of application at least the following credit score with a transcript of records (also not certified) and the average grade achieved so far are proven:
At least 140 credits for bachelor's degree programs totaling 180 credits
at least 170 credits for undergraduate courses amounting to 210 LP
At least 200 credits for bachelor's degree programs amounting to 240 LP
If the certificate or provisional proof is available in a language other than German or English, a German or English translation, the accuracy of which is certified by a sworn interpreter or translator, must be submitted, in addition to a simple copy of the foreign language certificate or proof.

In general, the prerequisite for a master's degree is a first professional academic degree, eg a bachelor's degree. The first degree should have been acquired in a business administration subject.
This Master's program is intended as a postgraduate, continuing education program primarily for engineers, natural scientists, health management staff and human resources managers who have at least two years of professional experience.
A Bachelor of Arts in business administration, economics (with integrated at least 60 CP in business administration subjects) or business informatics is a suitable first degree. In principle, it is also possible to apply with university degrees in a similar subject if the admission requirements are met. Applicants who are not German must prove German language skills at least at level C1 (GER) by passing DSH 2 or equivalent. In addition, English language skills at level C1 (GER) must be proven.
The following entry requirements apply to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Potsdam:
\* Applicants whose native language is not German must demonstrate sufficient German language skills by passing the German language examination for university entrance (e.g., DSH 2) or an equivalent examination. The examination board may accept other proof of sufficient language skills. Successful completion of a German-taught degree program is also considered as proof.
What to prepare for your application to Business Administration
Application documents
When applying for the first semester, in addition to an online application, you must submit the following documents as PDFs via the online application form or via your personal documents folder in your applicant account:
1. Proof of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent first degree with your certificate , the corresponding transcript and the Diploma Supplement (if applicable) .
If your degree certificate does not clearly indicate the subject-specific entry requirements , please also submit confirmation of the modules you have completed and the credits you have earned (e.g. module performance overview, performance overview, transcript of records).
For an application without a formal degree, at least the following credit score must be proven at the time of application with a current transcript of records or confirmation of the current total credit score issued by the university:
at least 140 LP for Bachelor's degree programs with a scope of 180 LP
at least 170 credits for Bachelor’s degree programs with a total of 210 credits
at least 200 LP for Bachelor's degree programs with a scope of 240 LP
2. Evidence of the content and structure of your academic education. This could be, for example, module catalogues, study and examination regulations or a syllabus.
3 . If applicable, placement notice for the 1st semester as well as documents providing complete proof of all previous study periods, specifying the course of study and semesters (e.g. certificates of study progress, certificates of study or certificate of de-registration).

4. If applicable, translations by a sworn translator. If your academic certificates were issued in a language other than German or English, you must also upload a translation of these documents by a sworn translator via the study place portal.
5. A current and complete CV from the age of 16 with full details of your studies. This includes your current, discontinued and formally completed studies.
6. If applicable, proof of the name change (for example, a copy of the certificate of the name change).
7. Additional course-specific documents
