Study requirements First professional university degree in the field of design or in another design/artistic-oriented field with a strong technical focus. In the latter case, the suitability must be recognized by the examination board of the Faculty of Design. Successful participation in an artistic/design aptitude test (note the registration deadline!), all information on this can be found on the Faculty of Design website. Study requirements First professional university degree in the field of design or in another design/artistic-oriented field with a strong technical focus. In the latter case, the suitability must be recognized by the examination board of the Faculty of Design Successful participation in an artistic/design aptitude test (note the registration deadline!), all information on this can be found on the Application for the Master's degree website and on the pages of the Faculty of Design This course is only offered in German. In addition to the technical requirements, the knowledge of the German language required for the course of study must generally be proven by: "German language test for university entrance", DSH (level 2 or 3), "Test German as a foreign language" certificate, TestDaF (at least level 4), "German language diploma" of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany, DSD2 (level 2), "Central Upper Secondary Examination" (ZOP) of the Goethe Institute, Large or Small German Language Diploma of the Goethe Institute, "Goethe Certificate C1", Certificate of passing the "telc German C1 Hochschule" examination, Certificate of passing the German C1 examination of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" (GER), Certificate of the examination to determine the suitability of foreign applicants for taking up a course of study at universities in the Federal Republic of Germany ("assessment test") Applicants who have a German university entrance qualification or a university degree from a German-language course of study are exempt from providing proof exempt from the linguistic ability to study.
