Proof of English language proficiency at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in an appropriate manner, for example by: (aa) the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with at least 72 points (internetbased TOEFL test) or (bb) the International English Language Test System (IELTS) with a score of 6.0 or better, or (cc) a Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) or (dd) a grade of at least satisfactory in English (equivalent to at least 7 out of 15 points) in a domestic university entrance qualification (HZB) or a foreign HZB with proven knowledge of the English language at least equivalent to the aforementioned HZB, or (ee) proof of having already completed an education (in particular within the scope of a) above) has been completed with English language skills on the level mentioned in (aa) to (dd).
Proof of German skills at basic (A2) level is required by the end of the re-registration period for the 3rd semester at the latest - _not necessary for application_.
What to prepare for your application to International Economic Policy
Bachelor degree with proven competences in economics, business management, mathematics and statistics. More information in § 4 of the subject-specific provisions.
Proof of English skills at least B2 level of the CEFR (this is equivalent to German Gymnasium Grundkurs level).
