Economics and Finance is an English-taught Master of Science at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences on the Kleve campus. It combines methods, applications and models in economics and finance with the analysis of international financial markets, and research methods include game-theoretic experiments, behavioural economic analysis and empirical market analysis. In the first two semesters you build foundations in economics and finance, develop quantitative and analytical skills, and from the second semester choose your areas of specialisation with practical projects. The third semester is for your master's thesis and colloquium. The programme runs full time for three semesters and starts on 1 September or 1 March. It suits graduates with a bachelor's in economics, finance or a related subject, ideally with basic statistics, econometrics or mathematics. Graduates work in finance departments, regulation, consulting, banks and public institutions, or go on to a PhD.
