1\. have obtained a first degree from a German university in a Bachelor's program in Chemistry or in an equivalent degree program of at least three years at a German or foreign university that meets the qualifying requirements specified in paragraph 2, and
2\. have knowledge of the German language that corresponds to at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as knowledge of English that corresponds to at least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
(2) The applicant must provide evidence that they have earned a total of at least 120 ECTS credits through the completion of coursework and examinations in at least three different subject areas of chemistry within the framework of the university program leading to the first degree (paragraph 1, no. 1). A further 10 ECTS credits must have been earned in the subjects of mathematics, physics, or physical chemistry. The Admissions Committee shall decide on the recognition of achievements comparable to those required under sentence 1.
