What you need to apply for Economics and Business Education at University of Mannheim
If you are applying for a German taught program, please submit notarized proof that your proficiency in German is equivalent to at least level C1 (Goethe Zertifikat C2) of the common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Applicants need to have a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Business Education to be admitted to the master’s program in Economic and Business Education. Another bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or economics is sufficient if it is recognized as equivalent and if you can prove your subject-specific knowledge corresponds to the content covered during the bachelor’s program in Mannheim.
The final grade achieved during your first degree (usually, this is you bachelor’s degree) is the sole selection criterion taken into account.
Language requirements
This program requires proof of proficiency in German on C1 level.
Conditional admission
If you have not yet completed your bachelor’s program by the application deadline, you may still be admitted to the master’s program as long as you provide proof that you have obtained at least 135 ECTS credits. In this case, your admission to the program is subject to receipt of your degree certificate by the first exam registration period in the master's program (refer to selection statutes).
