CHN - Community Health Nursing

a university degree in nursing science (Bachelor, university of applied sciences diploma, etc.) or a degree in a nursing science-related course (e.g. sociology, psychology or social work). The final certificate for the university degree can be submitted during the first semester after starting the course.

Applicants are

health and nursing staff,

health and pediatric nurses,

geriatric nurses or

midwives

who have also completed a degree, such as:

\- nursing education, nursing management or nursing science,

\- sociology or social work,

\- psychology,

\- public health or similar.

For non-native speakers: German language skills at level C1 are proven for the CHN course via speaking certificates from the Common European Framework of Reference.

To be admitted to the Master's degree program in Community Health Nursing at the University of Witten/Herdecke, you need to have completed nursing or midwife training and a bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing. Despite the English name, the courses are held in German. However, knowledge of English is required in order to read and understand English-language specialist literature.
