Roughly 2,000 to 2,500 are fully English-taught Master's degrees, with the majority in engineering, computer science, business, natural sciences, and social sciences. The catalogue above is updated nightly.
Well over 1,500 English-taught Master's programmes are available across Germany, concentrated at technical universities (TU Munich, RWTH Aachen, KIT) and international business schools (ESMT Berlin, WHU). Use the language filter above to narrow to English-only programmes.
Most public universities follow two cycles: 15 July for the winter semester (October start) and 15 January for the summer semester (April start). Some programmes have earlier internal deadlines. Use the deadline filter above to see programmes with upcoming deadlines.
Yes, for most public universities. Nearly all federal states charge zero tuition for Master's degrees, including for non-EU students. The only exception is Baden-Württemberg, which charges non-EU students 1,500 EUR per semester. All students pay a semester contribution of 150 to 350 EUR. Private university programmes cost 10,000 to 30,000 EUR per year.
Students from India, China, Vietnam, and Pakistan must complete APS (Akademische Prüfstelle) verification before applying. APS checks academic documents and issues a certificate required by most universities. The process takes 4 to 12 weeks depending on country and document completeness.
